get involved!

Membership is discipleship at St. Paul's and we encourage everyone to get involved! Involvement is a great way to serve God and develop lifelong relationships with others in the body of Christ.

No matter what a person's age, interests, or stage of life, St. Paul's has activities, programs, and small groups where you will find fellowship, service, Scripture, prayer, and support.

Lutheran men's Group

We want to help men where they are with the love of Jesus.

We'd love to help you navigate the many different jobs that God calls men to.  Whether you're single, married, a dad, or a grandpa, we want to help encourage you with God's grace as you seek to live out your faith in your homes, relationships, and workplaces.

The Lutheran Men meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall to enjoy a dinner followed by a program.  Programs include outside speakers, Bible Studies, or any of a variety of other topics of interest to men!

During the year the Lutheran Men sponsor the Cruise 'n Barbecue in April and our Annual Fish Fry in September, which has proven so popular that we have opened it to all members of the church and community who enjoy fellowship and helping others in need!

Lutheran women's Circles

We welcome and invite any woman, member or non-member of our congregation, to come join us for fun, fellowship, and the study of God's Word.

Each circle participates in various projects throughout the year to support the church as well as the community. Newsletters go out each month to keep members informed on current projects. St. Paul's Lutheran Women supports the community through participation in many local organizations including:

Trinity Health and Rehab (formerly Lutheran Home)

Trinity Living Center

Family Crisis Council (Battered Women's Shelter)

Koontz Elementary School

Circles of St. Paul's Women:

With seven small "circle" groups who faithfully meet at different times each month, we hope there is one that will work with your schedule:

Kathy Ketchie Circle meets 1st Sunday at 5:00 PM

Hama Lingle Circle meets 1st Monday at 7:00 PM

Grace Ridenhour Circle meets 1st Tuesday at 7:00 PM

Ellen Bumgarner Circle meets 1st Wednesday at 9:30 AM

Melissa Lura Circle meets 2nd Monday at 6:30 PM

Bonnie Bost Circle meets 2nd Tuesday at 7:00 PM

The women's groups are an excellent way to meet others in the church in a small group setting, learn about the programs of the church and become involved in the ministry of St. Paul's.

If you have questions or need assistance in choosing a group, please contact the Church Office at (704) 633-0922 or e-mail us.

We hope to see you next month!

friendship club

St. Paul's Friendship Club offers opportunities for our senior members to join together in an atmosphere of joyous fellowship for meals, outings, and learning experiences on issues pertinent to them. The club meets the third Thursday of each month at 10:30 AM. Check the church calendar and most recent newsletter for upcoming events.

meals on wheels

Each month our congregation participates in Meals On Wheels of Rowan County by delivering a nutritious meal, a warm smile and a safety check to seniors living independently in their homes in our area of the county.
