Genevieve baker,

church secretary

Genevieve grew up at St. Paul's and has faithly served as our church secretary.  She is now working on her 19th year. With so much going on at St. Paul's, she keeps a steady pulse on our congregation and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone stays informed and everything runs smoothly. Out of love and in service to Christ and His church, Genevieve has participated in or held key roles in almost every ministry here at St. Paul's. Sporting a friendly smile and welcoming countenance, she is our very own "go-to" girl. She is also our "g-of-all-trades" by her willingness and ability to cheerfully fill in when and where a need exists.

Katie Funderburk is the Director of Youth Ministries at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Katie was born in Rowan county and grew up here at St, Paul's. She has recently rejoined the congregation after serving as a youth advisor at Faith Lutheran and then most recently as the Youth Director at St. Luke's Lutheran in Mt. Ulla. Katie enjoys spending time with her daughter, short trips with big memories, and reading books and watching movies. Her favorite Bible verse is Galations 5 22-26. Live by the fruit and you will never go hungry again. The church offers programs for all youth age groups. We want to help your child create a last love for the Lord through Bible studies, service, games, and interaction with others their age that are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ.
